STUDENT SUPPORT

Mrs. Nanette Wright
Coordinator of Student Support & Learning Specialist

My Mission:  To help each student realize his or her potential in a challenging yet loving environment. I love teaching and I hope that the students will love learning.

Education:   Notre Dame de Namur University

                  M.A. Special Education, 2012

                  Preliminary Education Specialist Instruction Credential

                  Preliminary Multiple Subject Credential

                  San Francisco State University

B.A., Home Economics (Interior Design), 1996

Experience:  I began my career at Redeemer in 2008, as a private aide. During this time, I decided to further my education and become a teacher. Once I obtained my credentials, I was hired as the RSP Teacher then moved to the classroom as the middle school history teacher. Due to my background in Special Education, I was asked to step in as the full-time Coordinator of Student Support and Learning Specialist. I am looking forward to helping our program grow as we work towards meeting the needs of all of our amazing students.

Hobbies:  In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, going for walks, traveling, singing, and watching new shows.

Both of my children, now adults, are graduates of Redeemer and my husband, Mr. Wright, is the Athletic Director and PE teacher.

“Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.”
