"FOR THE LOVE

OF CHRIST CONTROLS US"

7th GRADE

Mrs. LaRayne Carbonneau
Welcome to Seventh Grade!

My Mission:  To not only expose, challenge, and prepare students with a comprehensive curriculum; but to more importantly, encourage each other to be driven and motivated by Christ’s love – all He is and all He has done on our behalf.

Education:    Bachelor of Arts in Psychology

Emphasis in Business/Administration and Certified in Liberal Arts Program

                   UCLA (1988)

                   Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (1990)

                   Language Development Specialist Certificate (1991)

Experience:  I began my teaching experience at Beverly Hills High School as an instructional aide in the special education department for several years and then taught in the Los Angeles School District for five years in grades three through six. After homeschooling my four children through various grades, I more recently taught various middle school math courses in the Redwood City School District for three years.

Hobbies: Other than teaching, I enjoy serving in the Church and laughing with friends and family. I love the beach and occasionally watching a good action movie/show.  I currently attend a lot of competitive soccer games for my youngest daughter.

Personal:  I have been married 29 years to my husband and lifelong best friend, have four wonderful children, and a sweet little dog named Macy.

“For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that One has died for all, therefore all have died; and He died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves, but for Him who for their sake died and was raised.”

 2 Corinthians 5:14-15
